A decorated name is the stylish nickname you see in match lobbies and on profiles: ꧁Layla꧂, 乂 Rex 乂, ♛ Omar ♛ or ★彡 Nova 彡★. It combines the name with symbols on either side, and sometimes with a letter style such as script or bold. Building one by hand means hunting for every symbol separately; this decorator produces dozens of versions from a single name.
Type a name in the Your name box and 59 decorated versions appear immediately. Narrow them with Frame style, change the letters with Font style, and press the copy icon on the one you want. Everything is generated on your device, so the name you type is never sent to a server.
What makes a good decorated name
A decorated name has three parts: a frame, the name, and optionally a letter style. Frames are pairs of symbols that mirror each other, such as the Javanese ornaments ꧁ and ꧂, the Tibetan marks ༺ and ༻, or the lenticular brackets 【 and 】 from Chinese and Japanese punctuation. Because they belong to real writing systems, most modern phones can display them. Letter styles change the name itself, for example to 𝓛𝓪𝔂𝓵𝓪 in bold script or 𝕃𝕒𝕪𝕝𝕒 in double-struck.
Good results balance the two. A heavy frame around a plain name stays readable in a kill feed or a busy chat list, while a light frame suits an elaborate letter style. Short names leave more room, because many games and apps cap name length and each symbol in a frame usually counts as a character.
Where decorated names are used
Game nicknames and clan tags
Battle royale and MOBA games such as Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends show your name to every player in a match. Gaming frames like 乂, ☠ and ⚔ are popular there. Each game runs its own character filter, so try the name on the rename screen before you commit to it.
Social display names
Display names on Instagram and TikTok, Discord server nicknames and Telegram names generally accept symbols, which is why aesthetic frames such as ✧･ﾟ: * and ˚₊‧ are common among creators. Handles and usernames are stricter and usually refuse them.
Arabic names with kashida
The Arabic friendly group includes the ornate parentheses ﴿ ﴾, the ۞ sign and two styles that stretch the name with tatweel, the elongation stroke from Arabic calligraphy, giving results like مـحـمـد. Tatweel is only inserted between letters that join, so the name stays readable.
Names for friends and partners
Hearts and crowns frames turn a name into a sweet caption, such as ♡ Sara ♡ or 👑 Adam 👑, for a story, a birthday post or a contact saved in your phone.
How frames and letter styles combine
There are 59 frames in eight groups: Gaming, Aesthetic, Hearts, Stars, Crowns, Brackets, Japanese style and Arabic friendly. Frame style shows all of them or a single group, and each result card is labelled with its group. Most frames put a symbol or a short string before and after the name. A few add only a prefix, such as a 👑 crown or the ﷽ ligature, one Arabic style stretches the name without any frame, and one aesthetic style separates the letters with middle dots instead, turning Nova into N·o·v·a.
Font style applies one of 33 Unicode letter styles to the name before the frame is added, from Bold and Script to Circled, Small caps and Fullwidth; Plain keeps your letters as typed. Letter styles only change the Latin letters A to Z and, in some styles, digits, so an Arabic, Cyrillic or accented name keeps its own letters while still getting the frame. Spaces at the start and end are trimmed, and the list refreshes as you type.
طريقة الاستخدام
- Type the name in the Your name box.
- Pick a group under Frame style, or leave it on All to see every frame.
- Optionally choose a Font style such as Script or Bold to restyle the letters.
- Press the copy icon on a result and paste it into your game or profile name field.
Things that can go wrong
- Each game and app decides which characters it allows. A symbol that works in one may be blocked or shown as a box in another, and the rules can change between versions.
- Frames add characters, so a decorated name can exceed a length limit. For Free Fire's 12-character limit, the Free Fire Name Generator fits names automatically.
- Emoji frames such as 🎮 and 💖 are often refused in game names even where other symbols are accepted.
