Not every photo needs a full editing program. A picture that came out too dark, a room shot with a yellow cast from indoor lighting or a product photo that looks flat usually needs two or three slider moves, not layers and masks. This tool gives you those sliders, Exposure, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Temperature and Sharpen, plus black and white, sepia and invert switches, with a live preview.

The same settings can be applied to up to 50 images at once, which makes it easy to give a set of photos from one shoot a consistent look. Everything is calculated by your browser and your pictures are not uploaded.

What each adjustment does

Exposure behaves like opening or closing a camera's aperture: it multiplies the light in the image, and a value of 50 equals one photographic stop, twice as bright, with two stops available in each direction. Brightness shifts every tone up or down by the same amount, which lifts shadows more visibly than exposure does. Contrast stretches tones away from the middle grey or pulls them towards it. Saturation strengthens or mutes colour, and at -100 it removes it.

Temperature warms the picture by adding red and removing blue, or cools it the other way, which counters the orange of bulbs or the blue of shade. Sharpen increases local contrast at edges so details look crisper. Black and white converts to greys weighted to how bright each colour looks to the eye, Sepia gives a warm brown antique tone, and Invert colours turns the image into a negative.

When a quick adjustment is enough

Dark or washed-out phone photos

Raise Exposure for an underexposed indoor shot, then add a little Contrast to bring back depth. A few steps of each is usually enough; large values clip highlights to pure white.

Consistent product and listing images

Photos taken over several days under different light rarely match. Applying the same warmth, brightness and saturation to the whole batch helps a shop page or a catalogue look like one set.

Documents, scans and creative looks

Black and white with extra contrast makes a photographed receipt or page easier to read. Sepia or a cooler temperature quickly gives social posts a mood, and Invert turns a photographed black and white negative into a viewable positive.

How the editor processes your images

Adjustments are applied in a fixed order: exposure, brightness and contrast first, through one lookup table per channel, then temperature, saturation, black and white, sepia and invert, and finally sharpening with a small 3 by 3 kernel. Transparency is never changed. The preview works on a copy of the selected image of at most 1,400 pixels on its longest side, so sliders respond instantly even for large photos.

When you download, each image is decoded again at full resolution and the adjustments are calculated in a Web Worker so the page stays responsive. The result is saved as JPG, PNG or WebP; JPG at quality 92 is the default. Files are named after the original with -adjusted added, and several images arrive together in one ZIP.

So verwenden Sie dieses Tool

  1. Drop up to 50 images on the box above, or click to choose them.
  2. Move the sliders and switches while watching the preview; click a thumbnail to check another image.
  3. Press Compare to see the original and press it again to return to your edit; Reset all puts every setting back to zero.
  4. Choose the output format and quality.
  5. Press the download button to save one image, or a ZIP when you have several.

Limitations

  • There are no curves, levels, highlight or shadow recovery, hue shifts or local brushes; every change affects the whole image evenly.
  • All images in the list get the same settings. To treat one photo differently, adjust and download it on its own.
  • The preview of a large photo is a reduced copy, so sharpening can look slightly different on the full-size download. Check the downloaded file when it matters.
  • Camera metadata such as EXIF and GPS is not copied to the adjusted files, and JPG output fills transparent areas with white.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

What is the difference between exposure and brightness?

Exposure multiplies the light, so bright areas brighten much more than dark ones, like a longer shutter time. Brightness adds the same amount to every tone, which lifts dark areas and can make blacks look grey. Try exposure first for underexposed photos.

How do I make a photo black and white?

Turn on Black and white. You can still use Contrast and Exposure afterwards to shape the grey tones, which often gives a punchier result than the conversion alone.

Can I edit several photos with the same settings?

Yes. Add up to 50 images, set the adjustments while previewing any of them, and press the download button. Every image in the list is processed with the same values and the set downloads as a ZIP.

Does adjusting reduce the resolution?

No. Only the on-screen preview is reduced. The downloaded files have the same width and height as the originals.
