How these tools work
The document converters change the format of text documents without sending them anywhere. Word files, Markdown and HTML are read and written by code that runs in your browser tab, so contracts, drafts and notes stay on your device, and there is no account, watermark or daily limit.
DOCX to HTML keeps headings, lists, tables and images, ready to paste into a website or a content management system. DOCX to Text pulls out the plain text with its paragraph breaks, and DOCX to Markdown produces clean Markdown for wikis, README files and static site generators. In the other direction, Markdown to HTML shows a live, sanitized preview as you type, Markdown to Word builds a DOCX with real headings, lists and code blocks, and Markdown to PDF lays out a simple, printable document. HTML to Markdown turns web page markup, tables included, back into Markdown.
Font Converter switches fonts between TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2, the compressed format browsers load fastest, and shows a preview line so you can check the result. The converters focus on structure rather than exact layout: complex Word formatting such as text boxes, columns or tracked changes is simplified, and each tool page lists what it keeps.
Frequently asked questions
Will my Word file look exactly the same?
The converters keep the structure of a document: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links and images. Page layout details such as margins, columns, text boxes and exact fonts are not carried over, because HTML and Markdown do not describe them.
Is the HTML made from Markdown safe to publish?
Yes. Markdown to HTML removes scripts and other unsafe markup from the result before it is shown or downloaded, so pasted Markdown cannot run code on your page.
Which font format should I use on a website?
WOFF2. Every current browser supports it, and it is often around half the size of the same font as TTF. Font Converter creates it from TTF or OTF files and also turns WOFF2 back into a desktop font.
