Your files
Files you add to any tool on this site are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party. When you close the page, the files and results are discarded from memory. The video and audio tools download their converter (FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly) from this site the first time you use them; that download contains program code only, never your files.
Local storage
We keep a few small items in your browser’s storage, never on our servers: your last-used settings for each tool, the list of up to 6 tools you opened recently (shown on the home page and in search so you can get back to them), your light or dark theme choice, and a flag that records whether the support message has been shown in this session. You can empty the recent tools list with the Clear button on the home page, and remove all of this data through your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly service, to count page views and tool usage in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data and does not track you across sites.
Advertising
We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Where the law requires consent, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s consent message is shown and asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
