CAD Düzenleyici

Düzenleyici yükleniyor; ilk seferde yaklaşık 8 MB, sonrasında önbellekten.

CAD Editor is a two-dimensional drafting program that opens inside this page. It works the way computer-aided design software has worked for decades: type L, click two points, type @5<45 and press Enter, and a line of exact length and angle appears. Object snaps lock the cursor to endpoints, midpoints, centres, intersections and tangents, polar tracking and ortho keep lines straight, and a Layers palette, dimensions, hatches, blocks and tables turn a sketch into a drawing a contractor or a machinist can read. Drawings open from and save to DXF and DWG, and plot to PDF.

Your drawings stay on your computer. The program is served by this site and runs in your browser tab; the DXF you open is read into memory and never transmitted. The first visit downloads about 8 MB, after which the browser keeps the program cached.

What this CAD editor can do

The window has the drafting layout: a command line at the bottom with prompts, clickable keywords, history and autocomplete, Tool Sets on the left grouped into Draw, Hatch, Block, Modify, Text, Dimension, Leader and Table, the model space with its adaptive grid, crosshair and ViewCube in the middle, and Layers and Properties palettes on the right. Draw commands cover lines, polylines with arcs and widths, circles, arcs, rectangles, polygons, ellipses, splines, points, construction lines, rays, donuts and revision clouds. Modify commands include move, copy, rotate, scale, mirror, stretch, offset, trim, extend, fillet, chamfer, break, join, explode and rectangular or polar arrays, with grips for direct editing. Window and crossing selection, direct distance entry and right-click to repeat behave as expected.

Annotation is complete enough for real drawings: every dimension type with dimension styles and associative dimensions that follow the geometry, multileaders, single-line and multiline text with formatting, tables, and hatch patterns, solid and gradient fills with pick-point boundaries and islands. Layers carry colour, linetype, lineweight and on, off, freeze, lock and plot states, blocks hold attributes and nest, and geometric and dimensional constraints re-solve after every edit. Paper-space layouts with viewports, page setups and plot styles produce the sheet, which is plotted to PDF or exported as SVG or PNG. DXF files from R12 through 2018 open and save as R2000, DWG files from R13 through 2018 open and save too, and the interface speaks thirteen languages.

When to use an online CAD editor

Reading or marking up a DXF or DWG

A supplier sends a drawing and you need to check a dimension, add a note or move a wall. Open it here, measure, edit on its own layer and save it back as DXF or DWG without buying or installing a CAD seat.

A floor plan, part or sign to scale

Draw walls as polylines, offset them for thickness, place doors and furniture as blocks, hatch the walls, add dimensions and a title block, and plot a PDF at 1:50 from a paper-space layout.

Geometry for a laser cutter or a CNC

Many cutting and milling programs accept DXF. Draft the outline with exact coordinates and object snaps, keep each operation on its own layer, and save a clean R2000 DXF that the machine's software imports directly.

How the editor runs in your browser

The program is compiled to WebAssembly and loaded into a frame served from this site, so no outside host is involved. The drawing is rendered with WebGPU where the browser provides it and with WebGL2 otherwise, which is why a desktop browser with one of the two is needed: current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a laptop or desktop qualify. The command line, snaps and the DXF and DWG readers and writers all run in that same program, so a large drawing is handled by your machine rather than a server.

Opening a drawing uses the browser's file picker and reads the bytes into memory. Save, Save As, Export and Export to PDF trigger ordinary browser downloads, because a web page cannot write anywhere else on your disk. The build served here is updated together with the rest of the site, and a new version goes live only after it has passed the same checks as every other tool.

Bu araç nasıl kullanılır

  1. Wait while the editor loads. The first visit downloads about 8 MB; afterwards it starts from the browser cache.
  2. Start a new drawing or open a DXF or DWG with File > Open. Click into the editor once so the command line receives what you type.
  3. Draw with commands such as LINE, PLINE, CIRCLE and ARC, using object snaps and polar tracking, then add layers, hatches, dimensions and text. Modify with MOVE, OFFSET, TRIM and FILLET.
  4. Save the drawing as DXF or DWG with File > Save, or plot a layout to PDF with File > Export to PDF. The file lands in your Downloads folder.

Limitations

  • A desktop browser with WebGL2 or WebGPU and a mouse with a wheel are required. Phones show a notice instead of the editor; drafting on a touch screen is impractical.
  • The first load is about 8 MB, so a slow connection takes a moment the first time. Later visits use the browser cache.
  • This is a capable editor for everyday 2D drafting rather than a complete replacement for desktop CAD: 3D modelling is only beginning, and entity types the editor does not model yet are dropped when a drawing is saved, so keep the original file.
  • SHX fonts are not read; text in such a style is drawn with the editor's own stroke font. The browser cannot use the fonts installed on your computer, so only the bundled fonts are available for TrueType text.
  • There is no autosave. Save before closing or reloading the page, because the drawing lives only in the tab's memory.

Sıkça sorulan sorular

Does it open DWG files?

Yes. DWG files from R13 through 2018 open, and the editor saves DWG as R2000, which every current CAD program reads. DXF opens from R12 through 2018, in ASCII and binary form, and saves as R2000 as well. Entities the editor does not support yet are listed as unsupported and are not kept on save.

Is my drawing uploaded?

No. The editor runs inside your browser tab. The DXF or DWG you open is read from your disk into memory, and saving or plotting is an ordinary browser download. This site delivers only the program's own files, the same as any page's scripts.

Can I type commands like in AutoCAD?

Yes. The command line accepts the familiar commands and aliases, such as L for LINE, C for CIRCLE, O for OFFSET and TR for TRIM, with prompts, keywords in brackets, relative coordinates such as @10,0 and @5<45, direct distance entry, and Enter, the space bar or a right click to repeat the last command.

Can I print to scale?

Yes. Create a paper-space layout, place a viewport on it, set the viewport scale, for example 1:50, lock it, and use File > Export to PDF or the PLOT command with a page setup. The PDF keeps the sheet size and scale, so it prints correctly on paper.

Which dimensions and annotations are available?

Linear, aligned, angular, radius, diameter, arc length, ordinate, baseline and continued dimensions with full dimension styles and arrowheads, multileaders, single-line and multiline text, tables, hatches with patterns, solids and gradients, and blocks with attributes. Dimensions are associative, so they update when the geometry moves.
